Thank you to everyone that has posted public comments or has e-mailed me directly. September 11 hit everyone in many different ways, and while some sites pay tribute by posting pictures of the tragedy itself, when I came across the pictures you'll find on this site, that was when I finally broke down and cried for the first time. Up to that point, I just sat there, numb, watching the news, feeling completely helpless. Knowing that this page has helped people to either grieve or ralize that their sorrow is not just theirs has helped me feel that I could at least do something to help in some way.

I also want to say thank you to the people that have been hosting the mirror sites. When I first put up this site, it didn't take more than 24 hours before my host had to shut me down due to traffic overload. Thanks to these people, this photo-journal was able to remain alive.
